A second life for sunglasses – the Maesy Second Life Programmes
At Maesy, we believe that good things shouldn’t simply come to an end.
Our sunglasses are strong, safe, and timeless in design — made to be passed on from little brother to sister or to a friend down the street. But when a pair is truly no longer worn, we’re happy to give it a second life.
Through the Maesy Second Life Program, we make sure that sunglasses that no longer fit or are no longer used can shine again — with children who cannot afford sun protection themselves.

Our sunglasses are designed with an eye for style and durability. They are:
✔️ Unbreakable and kid-proof thanks to high-quality TPE material
✔️ CE Category 3 & UV400 certified – protection against harmful sun radiation
✔️ Free from harmful substances and 100% recyclable
✔️ Designed to be unisex, so they can easily be passed on to brothers, sisters or friends
For the youngest children, we also include an adjustable strap to keep the sunglasses securely in place – even while wriggling, crawling or taking their first steps in the sun.
💛 A second life starts with you
Children grow quickly – but their sunglasses do not grow with them. Yet they are often still in perfect condition. We thought it would be a shame to throw them away. That is why you can send your old Maesy sunglasses back to us free of charge as soon as they no longer fit or are no longer being worn.
We carefully inspect and clean every pair of sunglasses. We then donate them through Eyes for the World, an organization that provides sunglasses and eyeglasses to children who cannot afford sun protection themselves.
As a thank-you for your contribution, you will receive 10% off a new pair of sunglasses. Together, we can make sun protection a little more circular – and more socially responsible.
