Article 1 – Definitions
These terms and conditions define:
- Cooling-off period: the period during which the consumer may exercise their right of withdrawal.
- Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business.
- Day: calendar day.
- Durable medium: any medium that allows information to be consulted later, such as email.
- Right of withdrawal: the consumer's option to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days.
- Trader: Maesy B.V.
- Distance agreement: an agreement concluded via our webshop, without physical presence.
- Model form: the European model withdrawal form.

Article 3 – Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to every offer and every distance agreement between Maesy B.V. and the consumer.
The terms and conditions are made available before the agreement is concluded. If this is not possible, we indicate where they can be viewed.
Article 4 – The offer
The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered. Obvious errors or mistakes are not binding on us.
Article 5 – The agreement
The agreement is concluded as soon as the consumer accepts the offer.
Orders can be managed via the personal customer account on our website, where previous orders can be viewed and returns can be registered, among other things.
Article 6 – Right of withdrawal (statutory)
- The consumer has the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason.
- Notice of withdrawal can be given by email, via the customer account, or using the model withdrawal form.
- After notifying us, the consumer has 14 days to return the product.
- During the cooling-off period, the product and packaging must be handled with care. Only test the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and operation.
Additional return period offered by Maesy (service policy)
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, Maesy offers an extended return period of 30 days after receipt of the order. Return notifications may be submitted within this period. The statutory right of withdrawal (14 + 14 days) always remains in force.
Article 7 – Costs in the event of withdrawal
- The cost of return shipping is borne by the consumer.
- The consumer may also request a return label from Maesy at a reduced rate.
- All payments will be refunded within 14 days of notification of withdrawal — provided that we have received the product or the consumer can prove that it has been shipped.
- A deduction may be made for any reduction in value resulting from use beyond what is permitted.
Article 8 – Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal is excluded for products that:
- are not suitable for return for hygienic reasons when the seal has been broken;
- have been personalized at the consumer’s request;
- which, by their nature, cannot be returned.
Article 9 – The price
- All prices include VAT.
- Pricing errors do not bind Maesy.
Article 10 – Conformity and warranty
We guarantee that products comply with the agreement and legal requirements.
Defects must be reported within 2 months of discovery.
Article 11 – Delivery and performance
- Delivery takes place at the address provided by the consumer.
- Orders are carefully packaged and shipped via various carriers.
- The consumer can track the status of an order via the shipping confirmation or the customer account.
- If delivery is delayed, the consumer will be informed in good time.
Article 12 – Ongoing transactions
Not applicable to Maesy’s current range, but included for completeness.
Article 13 – Payment
- Payment is made using secure payment methods offered in the webshop.
- Incorrect payment details must be reported immediately.
Article 14 – Complaints procedure
- Complaints must be reported within 2 months of discovery.
- Complaints will be answered within 14 days.
- If affiliated with WebwinkelKeur, the consumer may contact it for mediation.
Article 15 – Disputes
Only Dutch law applies to agreements with Maesy.
Article 16 – Additional provisions
Additional or deviating provisions may not be to the consumer’s disadvantage.
